Software Engineer III, Spark Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute secure, scalable software solutions and technical troubleshooting.
• Create high-quality production code and maintain algorithms for complex applications.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts while ensuring all design constraints are met.
• Analyze large, diverse data sets to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous system improvement.
• Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore emerging technologies.
• Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge and automation capabilities to improve engineering value.

Requirements

• 3+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
• Proficiency in Java or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
• Experience with AWS services, specifically EKS, ECS, and Terraform.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, or documentation.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (CI/CD, resiliency, and security).
• Proven ability to design, develop, test, and maintain code in a large corporate environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java, J2EE, and Microservices.
• Extensive exposure to cloud technologies and infrastructure.
