Software Engineer III - Salesforce

Responsibilities

• Develop and shape Salesforce platforms for Customer Service, Marketing, and Operations teams within JPM Personal Investing.
• Build standalone products on Salesforce and integrate them with JPM Personal Investing services to enhance customer experience.
• Develop services including referrals, promo systems, automation, alerts, and email services.
• Create custom Lightning and Visualforce pages and develop products across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• Utilize external applications such as Salesforce Scheduler, milestones, forecasting, and Amazon Connect.

Requirements

• Certified Salesforce developer (at least Platform Developer 1).
• Proven experience in Force.com, Apex, and Visualforce.
• Experience with Service and Sales Cloud development.
• Proficiency in SOQL/SOSL/DML operations and query optimization.
• Experience with REST integrations with external services.
• Strong testing skills using TDD unit and integration testing methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
• Proficiency with Lightning Web Components and Async Apex.
• Understanding of clean architecture in OOP and a passion for maintainable, testable code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple Salesforce certifications.
• Hands-on experience with integrations (BE APIs, Amazon Connect, etc.).
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle.
• Full-stack Salesforce development experience.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and automated testing.
• Experience with Marketing Cloud and various integration patterns.
