Software Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features across front-end applications and supporting services/APIs
• Architect and develop scalable UI solutions using React.js and modern front-end patterns
• Create reusable components and libraries to improve development efficiency
• Integrate RESTful services and third-party APIs such as authentication and LMS
• Partner with Product and Design stakeholders to clarify requirements and estimate work
• Ensure quality and operational readiness by meeting usability, accessibility, and performance standards
• Mentor and guide engineers on technical best practices and maintainable design

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with full-stack ownership
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, React.js, Redux, and Node.js
• Solid fundamentals in HTML and CSS
• Experience with modular, maintainable, and scalable architectures
• Hands-on experience integrating RESTful services and modern JavaScript design patterns
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)
• Experience with Ruby on Rails
• Familiarity with micro frontends
