Software Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to enable MarTech performance measurement and BI efforts.
• Implement large datasets and complex pipelines using Python, Java, Databricks, Hive, and Spark.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop and manage databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Perform technical code reviews and participate in design reviews to ensure best practices and high code quality.
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain high standards of software reliability.
• Integrate and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery and production support.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of software development experience with proficiency in Python or Java.
• Strong expertise in Databricks, Hive, Spark, EMR, and SQL (including complex queries, joins, and window functions).
• Experience with microservices architecture, domain-driven design, and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
• Proven track record of implementing CI/CD and managing DevOps responsibilities.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and experience in highly collaborative environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization fundamentals in marketing or digital analytics.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience using AI-powered solutions and AI-assisted development workflows.
