Software Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications
• Analyze and develop visualizations from large, diverse data sets
• Identify patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture
• Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve productivity and code quality
• Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation value

Requirements

• 3+ years of practical software engineering experience
• Expert proficiency in Java, AWS, Python, Spark/PySpark, and database technologies
• Strong end-to-end experience across the full SDLC within an Agile framework
• Hands-on capability in system design, application development, and testing
• Experience building and maintaining code in large enterprise environments
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI-generated outputs
• Understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity and security

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of industry-wide Big Data technology trends
• Databricks exposure
• Exposure to cloud technologies
