Software Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot on AWS.
• Develop and deploy serverless applications utilizing AWS Lambda and ECS Fargate.
• Execute software solutions, technical troubleshooting, and system design to solve complex technical problems.
• Maintain high standards of code hygiene and system architecture to ensure production-ready code.
• Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assistance tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including product owners, leads, and architects, to align technology with business objectives.
• Apply SDLC and Agile methodologies, including CI/CD, to ensure application resiliency and security.

Requirements

• 3+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, SQS, S3, SNS, Postgres, EventBridge, and Lambda.
• Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience developing and maintaining code within a large corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted software development tools for coding, testing, or documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
