Software Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications for data and analytics products.
• Develop and maintain microservices and event-driven architectures, including RESTful APIs.
• Build modern, responsive user interfaces using React for data-heavy user experiences.
• Partner with data engineering teams to integrate datasets and ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
• Implement cloud-based solutions on AWS using services such as S3, EKS, and Lambda.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Apply SDLC discipline using agile practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced hands-on development experience in Python and React.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Proficiency with container technologies such as Kubernetes or ECS.
• Strong knowledge of the Python ecosystem (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Spark) and SQL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI-assisted development tools effectively and responsibly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript and modern React development practices.
• Exposure to AWS services including S3, EKS, IAM, Aurora Postgres, and Lambda.
• Familiarity with NoSQL and RDBMS concepts.
• Understanding of distributed systems and data streaming (e.g., Kafka, Flink).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
• Strong testing mindset covering unit, component, and integration testing.
