Software Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications supporting data and analytics products.
• Develop and maintain microservices and event-driven architectures, including RESTful APIs and data workflow integration patterns.
• Build modern, responsive user interfaces using React for data-heavy user experiences.
• Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to integrate datasets and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Implement cloud-based solutions on AWS using services such as S3, EKS, IAM, Aurora Postgres, and Lambda.
• Apply strong SDLC discipline using agile practices and CI/CD to ensure operational stability and resiliency.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced hands-on development experience in Python and React.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Proficiency with container technologies such as Kubernetes, ECS, or Cloud Foundry.
• Strong knowledge of the Python ecosystem (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Spark) and solid SQL skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript and modern React development practices.
• Exposure to AWS services including S3, EKS, IAM, Aurora Postgres, and Lambda.
• Familiarity with NoSQL and RDBMS concepts.
• Understanding of distributed systems and data streaming frameworks like Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming, or Flink.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, specifically Terraform.
• Strong testing mindset including unit, component, integration, and end-to-end testing.
