Software Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build scalable products.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met.
• Analyze and visualize large, diverse data sets to drive continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
• Proactively identify patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore emerging technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of applied software engineering experience and formal training in software engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and AWS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including IAM, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security).
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code within a large corporate environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and caching solutions.
• Understanding of secure coding, logging, and monitoring best practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to Mainframe technologies like COBOL or Assembler.
