Software Engineer III, ITC

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate Nike's multi-cloud ecosystem and enterprise cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Act as a primary technical leader for emerging cloud technology platforms.
• Drive organizational technical priorities and define engineering best practices.
• Translate complex business problems into scalable technical solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior cloud engineers and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Integrate cloud infrastructure with partner platforms and applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4-7 years of software engineering experience with a focus on multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, specifically AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems and modern architectural principles (REST, microservices, DevOps).
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Control Plane architecture, and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, GoLang, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience building observability solutions using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Crossplane or auto-scaling Kubernetes clusters using Karpenter.
• Experience implementing and integrating AI, Machine Learning, and GenAI data solutions.
• Exposure to A2A and MCP protocols.
