Software Engineer III-Devops, AWS

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot secure, scalable, and cloud-native software solutions.
• Create high-quality production code and maintain algorithms for complex applications.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts while ensuring all design constraints are met.
• Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity.
• Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge and automation to improve engineering throughput.
• Analyze large, diverse data sets to drive continuous improvement of systems and coding hygiene.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and emerging technology exploration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Practical experience building and operating cloud-native solutions.
• Proficiency with DevOps practices, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and AWS.
• Experience with Python programming and writing SQL queries for analysis.
• Strong understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, or documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs for security and performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Dynatrace.
• Experience running Kubernetes on AWS, specifically Amazon EKS.
