Software Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications and scalable microservices within an Agile environment.
• Dedicate the majority of time to coding, unit testing, and automated test development to support fraud risk assessment and secure transaction processing.
• Build and optimize high-throughput data pipelines to improve system efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to support continuous integration and reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver multi-system initiatives and platform integrations.
• Leverage modern developer productivity tools, including Generative AI-assisted development, to accelerate coding, debugging, and testing.
• Provide operational support to ensure high availability and performance for production environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java and SpringBoot.
• Extensive experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm configuration.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Cassandra.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and build management tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, or Gradle.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including code quality, testing, and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance tuning for sub-second response applications.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Dynatrace.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve engineering efficiency.
