Software Engineer III - Agentic AI, Java/Python

Responsibilities

• Deliver AI/ML projects through the ML development life cycle using Agile methodologies
• Transform business requirements into technical AI/ML specifications and define project milestones
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot secure, high-quality production code and algorithms
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met
• Analyze large, diverse data sets to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous system improvement
• Proactively identify patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice to explore emerging technologies

Requirements

• 3+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training in software engineering concepts
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying production AI/ML solutions
• Familiarity with agentic workflows and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Auto-GPT
• Deep expertise in at least one area: LLMs, NLP, Knowledge Graphs, Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning
• Proficiency in Python and Spark, including strong grasp of vector operations (NumPy, SciPy)
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-Learn
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud services (e.g., EMR, SageMaker)
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (CI/CD, Security)

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional exposure to cloud technologies and distributed computation (Dask, Ray, Polars)
