Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, test, and implement full-stack software solutions and application systems.
• Maintain accountability for the quality, reliability, and performance of services within assigned areas of ownership.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical designs and code.
• Support the rapid identification and resolution of production issues to minimize service disruptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and participating in knowledge sharing.
• Create and maintain complete technical documentation for projects and system architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (equivalent professional experience may be substituted).
• 3+ years of experience developing web-based applications and web services using Java and REST APIs.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Java (Spring Framework) and JavaScript (Angular).
• 2+ years of experience with AWS and Docker.
• Experience working with relational databases and integrating third-party solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within Agile and Scrum development environments.
• Proficiency with development tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, VS Code, Git, and Jira.
• Experience with cloud-native application development and AWS modernization initiatives.
• Experience with Hibernate, Seam, Banner, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Experience with identity and access management technologies (IDM/OSSO).
• Relevant technical certifications in cloud or software development.
