Software Engineer II, Web

Responsibilities

• Build innovative web products to extend game experiences and communities
• Follow architectural guidance and write quality code
• Write clean, performant code in PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL
• Interact with APIs and web client concepts like CORS, accessibility, and local storage
• Participate in team-wide code reviews
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver player-first web experiences

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with front-end and back-end web technologies, CMS, and data modeling
• Proficiency with NodeJS, Apache, Redis, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Ability to adapt visual designs into web UIs using React, Vue, or Bootstrap
• Fluency in PHP, JavaScript, or Python
• Experience with Git or similar source control tools
• Experience with graphic design and prototyping tools like Photoshop or Figma
• Experience with Laravel and Livewire
• Experience in an agile environment with CI/CD
