Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements and concepts into software designs and implementation
• Develop data pipelines for research and production using distributed systems and databases
• Collaborate with Product Management, UX, Security Research, and Data Science teams
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and encouragement to other engineers

Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems
• Knowledge of software design principles and development practices
• Unix/Linux proficiency
• B.S or M.S in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of Python experience
• 3+ years working with Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Hands-on experience with databases (MySQL, MariaDB, CouchDB)
• Knowledge of networking and networking protocols
• Knowledge of cybersecurity
• Experience with source code management tools like Git
