Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Build and scale large-scale distributed systems that power creator earnings, payouts, and monetization tools
• Architect, build, and operate mission-critical services for programs like Twitch Partner, DJ, and Plus
• Write and maintain high-quality code in Go, TypeScript, or other languages within our stack
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data analysts to deliver scalable monetization solutions
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and engineering process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of delivering features end-to-end
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, data modeling, and schema design
• Experience building and maintaining highly available, observable production systems
• Proficiency in one or more of the following: Go, TypeScript, Ruby, Java, or C++

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in monetization, fintech, or high-traffic consumer products
• Personal experience as a creator or streamer
• Background or interest in the gaming industry
