Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Act as an escalation point for complex issues and perform root-cause analysis
• Develop and maintain understanding of systems and their upstream/downstream dependencies
• Support and troubleshoot integrations involving REST APIs, microservices, and third-party SaaS platforms
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure security and efficiency
• Assist in monitoring platform performance and scalability
• Follow CI/CD and deployment processes for reliable releases
• Contribute to cross-functional troubleshooting of complex issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or comparable field
• Proficiency in backend development (Node.js, Python/Django/FastAPI, or GO)
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and database management (SQL/NoSQL)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with AWS (EC2, CloudFront, Lambda, SQS, S3)
• Ability to analyze and implement bug fixes
• Understanding of application development lifecycle, unit testing, and documentation
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in frontend development (React or Angular, HTML, CSS)
• Experience using AI tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
• Prior experience in media management or digital media distribution
• Experience working within an Agile environment
