Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices and APIs within a micro-service architecture
• Implement scalable, stable, and user-friendly products to support future growth
• Design and implement integrations between Talkdesk and external systems using APIs and middleware
• Work in an agile environment utilizing GIT, continuous deployment, and extensive testing
• Collaborate with Product teams and other engineering clusters to ensure requirement fulfillment
• Act as a technical guide by documenting architecture and performing hands-on coding

Requirements

• BS/MS Degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, or Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in Software Development, specifically with cloud-based applications
• Proficiency with Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and experience with cloud databases
• Deep understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Event-driven Architectures
• Experience with microservices, APIs, and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience with storage technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Good written and spoken English
