Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Develop C++ software running in Linux (Red Hat 8+) environments to support new application development and existing capabilities.
• Build, integrate, and deploy containerized applications using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Create and maintain DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines to support rapid iteration and evolving mission requirements.
• Participate in the development of leading-edge technologies within a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Work onsite at our McKinney, TX campus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
• 2 years of prior relevant software engineering experience.
• Embedded software development experience using C++.
• Experience developing software in a Linux environment, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8 or newer).
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure including Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with Agile lifecycle processes, including Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
