Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time embedded software for Gen4 Tactical Airborne Radar systems.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including software/hardware integration.
• Provide innovative solutions to technical problems with minimal guidance.
• Utilize investigation and troubleshooting skills to assess issues and develop solutions.
• Support system and software requirements, architecture generation, and analysis.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and participate in program and customer reviews.

Requirements

• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Development experience coding in C, C++, or ADA.
• Experience working with UNIX, Linux, Windows, VxWorks, or other RTOS.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an interim Secret U.S. security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance.
• Experience developing Radar software applications.
• Experience with large, complex systems such as airborne radars.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum hyper-collaborative team environment.
• Experience with the design, code, integration, and testing of software into large baselines.
• Ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP/SAR) clearances.
