Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Participate in collaborative, integrated product teams using agile software development techniques
• Develop, test, and integrate complex real-time embedded and application software for aerospace and defense surveillance systems
• Assist in the requirements, design, and testing of software and tools to enhance existing applications
• Work with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze and implement system solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant software development experience
• Proficiency in C++, C#, Java, or similar software languages
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum, SAFe, or DevSecOps
• Familiarity with integrated development tools like Azure, Git, Jenkins, or Atlassian Suite
• Knowledge of Red Hat and/or Linux Operating Systems
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD) pipelines
• Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles
