Software Engineer II - Product Ops

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Java-based medical applications
• Troubleshoot and identify root causes for application errors and user concerns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, DevOps, and Scrum teams to resolve issues
• Maintain ITIL processes and manage the lifecycle of resolution tickets
• Drive productivity through automation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform memory utilization, thread, and transaction analysis
• Document processes and monitor application performance metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• 2-3 years of professional experience in application support or software engineering
• Hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring framework, and Hibernate
• Proficiency in SQL queries and working with RDBMS
• Experience working with Linux operating systems (Redhat, Centos, or Ubuntu)
• Experience with AWS Cloud and web services

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the medical industry or application support within a regulated environment
• Familiarity with MQ Series, Oracle GoldenGate, Dynatrace, or Splunk
• Knowledge of Liferay or MVC Portals
