Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain individual AI agents using LangChain and LangGraph
• Develop and expose agent capabilities via FastAPI endpoints
• Implement RAG pipelines including chunking, retrieval, and vector search
• Integrate MCP tools into agent workflows
• Write evaluation tests and monitor agent performance
• Collaborate with senior engineers on agent design and deployment

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience building software in Python
• Proficiency in Python (typing, async basics, packaging) and Git
• Working knowledge of LangChain and LangGraph
• Experience building and exposing endpoints with FastAPI
• Exposure to ML libraries such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, NumPy, and Pandas
• Understanding of prompt engineering, LLM basics, and RAG fundamentals
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Azure platforms (Functions, App Service, or Foundry)
• Experience with Azure Agent Framework
• Knowledge of MCP tool consumption
• Experience with agent evaluation (golden sets, regression tests)
• Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and vector stores (Azure AI Search, Pinecone)
• Experience with frontend frameworks like Angular or React
