Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Develop, create, modify, operate, integrate, test and maintain software systems or platforms
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
• Containerize existing codebases using Docker and other container technologies
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
• Ensure security of software and systems
• Work with Agile teams in high-level design, development, implementation, integration and verification of software components
• Participate in Large Scale Agile Planning events and standard Agile meetings
• Develop computer program documentation and operational procedures
• Provide diagnostic support to correct processing anomalies in complex computer programs

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in software engineering
• Strong Java skills
• Experience containerizing applications using Docker
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Google Test, or similar)
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum Active Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• C++ experience
• Kubernetes experience
• Top Secret Security Clearance
