Software Engineer II - Java, Officer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug small to medium software enhancements and solutions.
• Implement software programs and applications using Java, C#, SQL, JavaScript, or related languages.
• Write unit and automation tests, as well as conduct manual tests, to ensure high-quality end products.
• Participate in code reviews and the full agile software development lifecycle.
• Attend daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives within the scrum methodology.
• Provide engineering troubleshooting assistance to customer support and other development teams.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 2 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated skill with object-oriented programming and data structures.
• Knowledge of relational databases (RDBMS) and scripting.
• Experience working within an Agile development methodology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field of study.
