Software Engineer II - Java Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot secure and scalable software components within an agile team environment.
• Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assistance tools (such as Copilot, LLMs, or Claude) to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity.
• Build and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS and container technologies like Kubernetes.
• Apply Agile software methodologies to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Develop frontend interfaces using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular.
• Ensure high standards of application resiliency, security, and automated testing.

Requirements

• 2+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java or Python.
• Hands-on experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular).
• Experience building cloud-native applications using AWS.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, or documentation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, microservice architecture, and application resiliency.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and cloud technologies.
• Experience with prompt engineering and developmental toolsets.
