Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, review, document, and debug software that meets product and customer requirements.
• Develop games for IGT customers, including core logic and graphical UI.
• Participate in the development of software solutions and protocol/documentation to support QA testing.
• Properly test, debug, and fix defective game code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including art, math, game design, and technical artists.
• Provide code reviews for games developed by peers and communicate development status and milestones.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong programming skills with experience in one or more programming languages.
• Practical software development experience using C++, Unity, or C#.
• Working knowledge of version control systems, build tools, and processes.
• Experience with software development processes such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Familiarity with software development principles and building graphical user interfaces (UI).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in game development.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Proficiency in software development processes.
• Familiarity with, or a strong interest in, gambling games.
