Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Work in an agile Scrum environment to design, develop, and implement new software programs.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and testable full-stack code for both backend and frontend.
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, integration testing, and verification.
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing enterprise-scale web applications and portals.
• Collaborate with architects, infrastructure teams, and cybersecurity personnel to ensure secure and scalable integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Enterprise Scale Full Stack Web Development.
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with UI technologies including React JS and JQuery.
• Strong database skills with Oracle and knowledge of Stored Procedures.
• Experience with version control (GitHub) and build management (Git Actions).
• Familiarity with ORM frameworks like JPA and API Gateways such as KONG or APIGEE.
• Experience with testing frameworks including Junit, Jest, Selenium, or Katalon Studio.
• Proficiency using JIRA for bug tracking and task management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RESTful APIs and Microservice Architecture.
• Knowledge of secure development practices and vulnerability scanning tools (Blackduck, Coverity, Twistlock).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Octopus.
• Experience with Software Configuration Management and Change Management practices.
