Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Design software architecture and perform embedded C++ coding for avionics systems
• Utilize object-oriented development techniques to build robust applications
• Create comprehensive test cases based on system and software requirements
• Participate in Agile development processes and manage tasks within Agile frameworks
• Use IBM Rational DOORS NG for requirements management and Atlassian JIRA for change management
• Collaborate with internal customers and team members through regular meetings
• Ensure all software tasks are completed on time and meet technical specifications
• Proactively identify and eliminate technical barriers and communicate program roadblocks to management

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Avionics software architecture
• Proficiency in embedded C++ coding and object-oriented development
• Experience with the software development lifecycle, specifically DO-178C standards
• Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies
• Proficiency with IBM Rational DOORS NG and Atlassian JIRA
