Software Engineer II - Full-Stack

Responsibilities

• Improve code structure, impact architecture, and review code produced by the team
• Simplify the maintenance, operation, and visibility of production systems
• Own large pieces of work and assist with design and technical implementation choices
• Influence the team roadmap and identify collaboration opportunities with other engineering teams
• Support the personal growth of colleagues and participate in the engineering hiring process

Requirements

• Experience writing web-based applications in any language
• Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience working with web architecture at scale (20krpm and above)
• Experience with NoSQL data backends (e.g., Redis, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch)
• Proven ability to solve logistical problems using software

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in learning or experience with Go, Ruby/Rails, Python, Scala, or Rust
• Experience working in a high-ownership, low-hierarchy environment
