Software Engineer II (Frontend)

Responsibilities

• Build and develop complex projects across mobile, console, and supported platforms
• Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using React Native
• Create and deploy adaptable UI elements using architectural frameworks like MVC, MVVM, and MVP
• Develop unit and integration tests and conduct code reviews
• Maintain documentation of system architecture and codebase
• Collaborate with international UI designers and product managers to create mobile user experiences
• Represent the team in technical forums and share knowledge with other Sony groups

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience crafting single-page web or mobile applications
• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, React Native, or Angular
• Proficient knowledge of iOS and Android programming environments
• Experience collaborating on cloud-deployed services and APIs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Skill in evaluating UI and application performance and network optimization
• Experience developing multi-threaded applications with C++ or C#
• Proficiency in designing and implementing GraphQL APIs
• Experience with cloud services, serverless architectures, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with system monitoring and debugging in production environments
