Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and support modules of large-scale, world-class enterprise products
• Participate in architectural design and evaluate new design specifications to raise quality standards
• Evaluate software stability, compatibility, scalability, interoperability, and performance
• Maintain and upgrade product source code
• Provide technical leadership and expertise to junior team members
• Document product features and write technical specifications for a wider audience

Requirements

• 4.5+ years of overall software development experience
• Proficiency in Java (Java 17 preferred), Spring, and Angular
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, principles, and patterns
• Experience with cloud development, including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Proficiency with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
• Experience with Agile or Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Experience with asynchronous APIs and event-based communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Full-stack development experience with JavaScript
• Knowledge of C/C++
• Experience with Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and Git
• Ability to provide product demonstrations and strong business domain knowledge
