Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Build and scale core infrastructure services and managed cloud services
• Design highly scalable, durable, and reliable platform services
• Collaborate with engineering, cloud support, and product teams
• Own end-to-end development, maintenance, and refactoring of software modules
• Design and deploy complex features across the full software development lifecycle
• Mitigate technical risks and automate manual processes for operational excellence
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production incidents
• Mentor teammates and conduct code reviews
• Optimize component performance and resource efficiency

Requirements

• 3-5 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in modern compiled languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or C++
• Experience designing and scaling fault-tolerant distributed systems
• Strong fundamentals in microservices and infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD)
• Experience with observability (time-series databases, log aggregation, distributed tracing)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
