Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Create DevSecOps pipelines for on-prem embedded systems applications
• Integrate tooling, applications, and scripts into the development pipeline
• Participate in the selection of technologies to enable automation and increase flow
• Develop applications and scripts to support the integration and flow of software updates
• Maintain frameworks to automate the test, deployment, and delivery of software
• Work within an agile (SAFe) environment

Requirements

• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance (Secret)
• University Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with Git tooling (e.g., BitBucket, GitLab, GitHub)
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins)
• Proficiency in programming with Python and Bash
• Experience working in a Linux development environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Experience integrating tools using RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of software artifact storage (JFrog Artifactory)
• Familiarity with C, C++, or Java
• Experience with multi-threaded embedded application software development
