Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data ingestion pipelines to extract, transform, and enrich data from various sources
• Implement data warehousing solutions using Snowflake and Teradata
• Design secure and efficient data pipelines on AWS aligned with business requirements
• Implement data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
• Optimize AWS and Snowflake costs through effective monitoring and cost-efficient solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Operations, and Business units
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex queries within Snowflake, Python, and AWS environments
• Provide data analytics solutions and stay updated on industry innovations and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
• 3-6 years of professional experience with AWS and Snowflake
• Proficiency in Snowflake SQL, including querying, data modeling, and performance optimization
• In-depth knowledge of Python and PySpark
• Strong understanding of AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, SNS, EMR, EC2, Athena, and CloudWatch
• Proven experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration processes
• Solid grasp of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data governance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the healthcare industry
• Knowledge of PIMS, PCMS, and VBC
