Software Engineer II Backend

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug components for distributed systems operating at large scale and high speed
• Own nonfunctional requirements including scalability, availability, and security
• Contribute to the creation of unit and integration tests to ensure high code and functional coverage
• Develop enterprise-class documentation for internal and external collaboration
• Break down complex tasks into manageable parts and execute effectively within an agile environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate technology and apply best engineering practices

Requirements

• 3-5 years of substantial coding experience, specifically with Golang
• Strong programming fundamentals and excellent problem-solving abilities
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of concurrency and multi-threading
• Excellent analytical and reasoning capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-throughput and low-latency storage
• Knowledge of cloud computing and NoSQL databases
• Experience with big data analytics, ML services, and large-scale systems
