Software Engineer II - AWS

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and support cloud-native solutions for Payments, Money Movement, and Information Reporting platforms.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable AWS-based solutions.
• Participate actively in technical design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver critical financial solutions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering and architecture experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and/or Node.js.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker or OpenShift.
• Experience designing and implementing event-driven, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in software development, OR High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate) or AWS Certified Developer Associate.
• Experience with payment processing, ACH, wire transfers, or real-time payments.
• Experience with financial systems integrations and regulatory reporting solutions.
• Experience with Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and enterprise observability platforms.
• Experience in regulated financial services environments.
