About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high quality applications and frameworks targeting the Unix/Linux platform
  • Design and implement application software in C++
  • Assist product owners and senior engineers in analyzing future product features, including feasibility, effort, and technical tradeoffs
  • Perform integration and system level testing of software and software/hardware systems
  • Develop documentation related to software development projects including design artifacts and test plans
  • Assist with technical support for field-deployed software applications and collaborate with clinical teams
  • Support and participate in clinical prototyping, testing, and formal evaluation in cadaveric surgical lab settings
  • Maintain rigorous version control, unit testing, and documentation to support regulatory evaluation

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in commercial software product development
  • Experience with C++ and Linux strongly preferred
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies
  • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or Jira
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Experience in a government-regulated product environment is desirable
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
