Software Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Use AI-assisted development tools including Claude and other GenAI technologies to support debugging, learning, and productivity
• Implement features, enhancements, and bug fixes in backend services for partner inventory ingestion and synchronization
• Apply distributed systems concepts including event-driven architectures, APIs, and data processing pipelines
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and pairing sessions
• Contribute to improving partner-facing APIs and internal tooling
• Diagnose production issues using logging, monitoring, and observability tools

Requirements

• Recent graduate or software engineer with internship, co-op, or substantial academic project experience
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms
• Familiarity with at least one backend programming language such as Java, Python, or Golang
• Basic experience building or consuming APIs
• Experience working with LLM frameworks and AI Platforms such as Anthropic or ChatGPT
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
