Software Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Support the evolution of the core compute platform, primarily EKS in AWS, to facilitate AI and Agentic development workflows
• Design and build reusable tools, including high-leverage SDKs, services, and shared packages to boost engineering efficiency
• Create intuitive platform interfaces and abstractions to maximize developer velocity and minimize cognitive load
• Collaborate with senior engineers to assist engineering teams and identify technical improvements
• Contribute to automation and tooling to enhance platform performance and reliability
• Champion high standards of quality and software development best practices

Requirements

• 0-2 years of software development experience, including internships
• Experience with general-purpose programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or Go
• Experience building and managing multi-tenant cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Crossplane
• Interest in designing and optimizing distributed systems for scalability and reliability
• Ability to quickly learn and adopt new coding languages, platforms, and frameworks
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
