Software Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and integrate highly complex software functions within the Connected Aero team
• Generate innovative solutions to address technical problems and opportunities
• Perform system and integration testing independently
• Prototype applications quickly using multiple programming languages
• Apply secure coding practices and analyze cybersecurity issues such as Coverity and BDH
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals in a demanding work environment

Requirements

• 0-2 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Java
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database fundamentals
• Front-End experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Back-End experience with Oracle, Java, or SQLite
• Experience using development tools like VS Code or Microsoft Visual Studio
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Aerospace domain
• Knowledge of GIS data formats, GIS tools, and libraries
• Experience applying AI/ML techniques to improve productivity
• Proficiency in Web Design and UI/UX tools for responsive designs
