Software Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure all software solutions comply with DO-178B guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software.
• Contribute to the development of technical software documentation and user manuals.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• Expected graduation date between August 2025 and May 2026.
• Minimum of 1 year of software development experience (including internships and project work).
• Experience with real-time embedded software.
• Experience with avionics or aerospace projects/internships.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected status under asylum/refugee status) due to export control laws.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of programming languages such as Embedded C, C++, or C#.
• Experience with software development tools and version control systems.
• Familiarity with various software development methodologies.
• Experience developing applications for embedded systems specifically for aerospace products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
