About the role
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of complex software enhancements within the CRD/Alpha Platform.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to create sustainable software solutions for complex financial problems.
- Participate in the full agile software development lifecycle, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Work under the guidance of senior engineers to develop skills in full-stack or front-end UI/UX development.
- Engage in on-the-job and formal training to build expertise in cloud-native services, event-driven architectures, and modern programming languages.
Requirements
- B.S. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
- 1–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Foundational knowledge of Java, C#, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with DevOps, continuous delivery, TDD, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, solution-oriented thinking, and effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with web-based applications using ReactJS.
- Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server) or Snowflake.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Kafka.
- Interest in developing cloud-native services on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Jasmine.
