Responsibilities

• Build highly available, secure, distributed systems in a microservice architecture
• Design, develop, test and maintain systems representing logistics entities like cargo, documents, and carriers
• Collaborate with engineers to solve complex business and technical problems
• Build and launch products rapidly, shipping to production dozens of times per day
• Maintain high-quality standards by obsessing over metrics and post-mortem learnings

Requirements

• 1+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong engineering background
• Proficiency in at least one language: Ruby, C, C++, Java, or Kotlin
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Love of simple, well-tested, and extensible code
• Strong bias for action and problem-solving
• Knowledge of full software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices
• Proficiency in coding standards, code reviews, and continuous deployment
