Software Engineer - I

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for end-user issues and queries regarding eQMS/EHS applications such as ETQ and Enablon.
• Prioritize, track, and perform initial troubleshooting for incidents and service requests.
• Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams while following established SLA and incident management processes.
• Assist with technical configuration changes under the supervision of an Architect.
• Support data management activities, including uploads, corrections, validation, and report generation.
• Perform system smoke testing following deployments or bug fixes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in ticketing systems and project trackers.

Requirements

• B.E or B.Tech degree in a relevant field.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in software engineering or technical support.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
• Foundational understanding of Application Architecture, UI, Databases, and Business Rules.
• Understanding of cloud service models including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
• Familiarity with ticketing and workflow tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of scripting or Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
• Experience supporting eQMS or EHS specific software environments.
