Software Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Drive the design and development of scalable applications for identity verification using microservices and industry best practices.
• Take full ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of new and existing features, from conceptualization to production deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, Data Science, and Risk to maximize the impact of data-driven initiatives.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code for high-impact systems.
• Build and operate resilient systems and mentor junior team members to support technical development.
• Research and integrate emerging technologies, specifically leveraging Generative AI and Computer Vision.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer working with complex, large-scale applications.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience working in agile environments and delivering high-quality code under deadlines.
• French language proficiency.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cloud and Infrastructure technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Knowledge of payments or financial services.
• AI proficiency or a strong interest in leveraging AI to enhance productivity and product capabilities.
