Software Engineer

About the Company

Humanoid is on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. Their HMND‑01 Alpha platform is already running in real industrial pilots.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services for robot fleet coordination, including workflow state management and APIs
• Develop workflow authoring tools that allow operators to define robot tasks using natural language
• Build on-robot services for remote control, execution, and diagnostics
• Own data infrastructure for tracking workflow execution, event logs, and audit trails
• Maintain secure cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and observability
• Implement testing and validation pipelines, including simulation-based validation

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering skills in Python, Go, or similar
• Solid understanding of API design, data modelling, and distributed systems
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerisation, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code
• Ability to work across the full stack from frontend to backend
• Experience with observability and alerting in mission-critical systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with workflow engines, state machines, or multi-agent coordination systems
• Experience building operator-facing dashboards or authoring UIs
• Exposure to LLM-based agentic systems
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems like WMS or ERP
• Background in robotics or real-time systems
