Holiday Tribe is building India’s first AI-powered self-planning travel platform. We combine conversational interfaces with real-time booking integrations to let travelers plan and book entire trips in minutes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js (Express/NestJS)
• Integrate backend services with travel APIs for flights, hotels, and activities
• Implement RESTful APIs to support AI-powered trip planning and booking
• Work closely with frontend and AI orchestration layers
• Design clean, reusable modules for third-party booking platforms
• Optimize performance and scalability of real-time query systems
• Collaborate with product managers and DevOps for stable deployments

Requirements

• 2+ years of backend development experience using Node.js
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and async programming
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Familiarity with message queues (Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka), websockets, and caching mechanisms
• Ability to write clean, modular, and testable code

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on travel, booking, or real-time systems
