Software Engineer - Hardware Simulation & Engineering Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Develop models of hardware devices for use in hardware simulation
• Improve and enhance components that enable simulation-based development and testing
• Enhance developer experience around running, debugging, and diagnosing simulations
• Augment simulation capabilities for current and future needs
• Improve visibility and diagnostics for faster failure reproduction
• Run and support large-scale regression systems
• Improve code maintainability, documentation, and developer workflows

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or similar
• Programming experience in C, C++, or Python
• Ability to debug and solve problems in unfamiliar codebases
• Enthusiasm for using AI tools in software engineering
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Windows and Linux development environments
• Experience with Git or other source control systems
• Experience with simulation, embedded concepts, or performance analysis
• Interest in systems, tooling, automation, or hardware-adjacent software
